The Company
Prairie Dog Productions started in May of 2000 as a Limited Liability Corporation. PDP saw the need for affordable, family oriented theatre on a regular basis. By focusing on a particular type of theatre, Musical Melodrama Parodies, Prairie Dog Productions provides the community with original scripts, specifically oriented to entertain children and adults together.
The Board of Directors is a partnership of the three owners; Sean and Chimena Cole and Tate McCullough . Chimena worked for a similar type of company in Salt Lake City, Utah, and decided to bring this type of theatre back to her home here in Boise. Tate and Chimena have numerous local stage credits including Knock ‘Em Dead, Boise Little Theatre, The Actor's Guild and College of Southern Idaho.
We would like to thank Prairie Dog co-founders Cammie Pavesic and Gary Winterholler for their efforts in helping to build the theatre into what it is today and we wish them the very best as they continue their journey!
